Giovanna Fletcher (married to Tom Fletcher, from McFly, who did this amazing wedding song/speech which made me cry and wish for a husband EXACTLY like that) is a name that is BUZZING around the Chick Lit world. Her debut novel Billy and Me is one of the biggest debuts of 2013 – it featured on my Top 10 Books I’m Looking Forward To list, and I think it’s going to start Giovanna on a fabulous writing career, I really do. It’s out next month and it seems like I’ve been waiting freaking ages for this book! Seriously, I cannot wait to read it. I adore the cover (LOOK AT IT!), I LOVE the sound of it (LOOK AT THE SYNOPSIS!) and I haven’t been this excited about a book since the new Sophie Kinsella book!
